Our practice chanter is a double-reed musical instrument. It is mostly use with Highland bagpipe. Chanter serves as a exercise instrument for beginners.
Chanter is bit longer, thin piece of wood, with small holes bored through lengthwise the center. chanter made in hard wood,
The chanter consists of a top section with mouthpiece, a lower portion with finger holes, and a reed.
The upper section consist of mouthpiece and the reed cover (the thicker portion).
The bagpipe practice chanter is use to playing the bagpipe in place of the full instrument. As its name indicates it’s use for practicing fingers for various melody notes of bagpipe and to practice melody of latest song notes.
